Overview

Arvex Systems Inc. ("Arvex Systems", "we", "us") operates two products: Arvex (industrial asset management SaaS) and Unforgettable (personal maintenance reminder app). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Unforgettable — Mobile App

What we collect

Unforgettable is built offline-first. All data you enter (assets, tasks, history, business cards) is stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not have servers that receive or store your personal maintenance data.

Free tier

No account required. No data is transmitted to Arvex Systems servers. Your data never leaves your device.

Pro tier — iCloud / Google Drive backup

If you enable backup, your data is sent directly to your own iCloud account (iOS) or your own Google Drive account (Android). Arvex Systems does not have access to your iCloud or Google Drive. We never see your backup files.

Pro+ tier — Supabase sync

If you subscribe to Pro+, your data and card photos are encrypted on your device before upload to our Supabase-hosted infrastructure. The encryption key is derived from your device and never transmitted. Arvex Systems cannot read your encrypted data even if legally compelled to provide it.

Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs in Unforgettable. We do not track in-app behavior, usage patterns, or crash data beyond what Apple or Google collect as part of their standard platform metrics.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store) using RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of purchase status only — no payment card information is shared with us.

Arvex — SaaS Platform

Account data

When you create an Arvex account, we collect your email address, company name, and role. This is stored in Supabase (Postgres with Row Level Security) hosted in a region appropriate to your location.

Operational data

Assets, deficiencies, hours logs, and user records you create in Arvex are stored on Supabase servers. This data is protected by Row Level Security — only authenticated users within your company can access your company's data.

Field workers

Field worker accounts use a Company Code + Username + PIN system. No email addresses are collected from field workers. PINs are hashed before storage.

Session data

We use Supabase Auth for session management. Sessions are stored using secure HTTP-only cookies. We do not use third-party ad trackers or behavioral analytics on the Arvex platform.

Data Retention

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Backup files stored in your own iCloud or Google Drive are outside our control — you can delete them at any time from within those services.

  • RevenueCat — in-app purchase management (Unforgettable)
  • Apple iCloud — optional backup storage, user-controlled (Unforgettable Pro)
  • Google Drive — optional backup storage, user-controlled (Unforgettable Pro)
  • Resend — transactional email (Arvex SaaS — password reset, alerts)

Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial legislation, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance.
